Classmate X says that if you need any help, drop him a line. That "Architecture and Operating Systems with Lab" is a course he's already taken. Maybe you two will end up in some of the same classes again!
Congratulations on the project grade, I hope some of the rest of your classes are easier on you. I do check in once in awhile and Sarah got me with the Christmas songs tag. I'm not sure if Chris has to take that Advanced PC Applications with Lab class, he's already taken something similar but it didn't involve live classes or projects. I don't know how he'd handle something like that with his work schedule. Now that you're both working for the same major this could get interesting!
Miss ya hon, check in soon.

[...] It’s a good thing, I guess. It’s making me come up for air for a few minutes! I passed in my last class project, and got 100% on it! I was delighted. The second half of the course calls for another huge project - this time in MS Access - a program I’ve never used before. Well, we were given two choices for project themes … however my professor surprised me by telling me that I can “continue” with the project I started in Excel. I was delighted, until I realized that Access is not intuitive, especially if you’ve never used a relational database before! I’ve had several 4 AM bedtimes … with 8 AM risings … to try to get on top of things on time to finish the project and pass it in. My kitchen is buried in dirty dishes! In the last couple of days, I’ve gotten on top of things a bit though - now I need to go through my inbox and answer about 100 emails … [...]

You are obviously very busy, and busy is good, especially if it is something with meaning to you, as what you are doing obviously does. Anyway, it's good to be back over this side and in touch with friends again on a more ongoing basis.
Your friend,
Ian

Good heavens, changing majors. Can I do that? I'd like to be a metaphysical philosopher. I could still sit in my office, and patients could come to me with complaints like: "Yesterday I went to hit a nail with a hammer and I couldn't do it because I couldn't convince myself that the nail exists." I could help people with that.

But I really can't see myself spending another day of my life in school. I liked school a lot, but it doesn't seem appropriate for this stage in my life. I hope you do well in your new major. Hospital bills are getting longer and we need mighty minds like yours to make sure we are getting $14 for each aspirin we prescribe. Good luck to you.

I am interested in your project about “Dietary Values for the Renally Impaired.” as my husband has renal insufficiency and was told last week to limit his salt and protein because his creatinine levels had gone up to 2.6 recently. I wondered if you presentation would be useful in designing a meal program for him. I would be interested in seeing it. One problem I use a MacIntosh OS 10.4.8 so I don't know if I could read it unless it was as a pdf.

We are floundering as we are having to deal with this while traveling.
