If not here, if not now - then where, when? Time is a perverse beast - it pulls when you push, pushes when you pull. It's untameable, unmanageable, irretractable, and unpredictable. Best make peace with it ... its passage is as inevitable as death, taxes and change.

Thank you for the lovely tribute… it seems as though too may people, who were not personally affected, have forgotten… thanks again.

I am crying big alligator tears right now. It is just a heartbreaking reminder of that awful day, and the several weeks that followed. Funny, I would have thought after 5 years, I wouldn’t feel the pain I do. But, it is still there. Thanks, Moof, for the beautiful tributes. If you don’t mind, I would like to link to the first video. It was too emotionally meaningful not to share.

Moof: When this happened, I was teaching a lab class at my grad school in Dallas, and our lab assistant pulled out a TV from the lab store and we all watched in horror…after five years, the pain may be gone, but not the memory for me…

As Arunn says…the pain may fade, but the memories never will…

Sharon, there’s a lot of who weren’t even remotely affected, who were even half a world away, who haven’t forgotten and will not forget. Just wanted to let you know that :)
A beautiful tribute, Moof.

Moof, this was beautiful.. As I have been going from site to wonderful site reading all the tributes, it is started to wear on me. I feel I must keep doing so. No matter how I feel there are many of these families who still feel this every minute of every day.
Thank you for posting this, my friend!!

We won’t forget.
But it is up to us to make sure that our children and grandchildren don’t either.

Moff…Such a hauntingly beautiful tribute, thank you so much.
On this day of reflection, and each day after, let us truly reflect deep within ourselves to find a common answer for world peace. We, our children, our families, each and every one of us have to be committed to this goal. That is what all those through out the entire world who have died in the name of hate are watching and hoping we will do. Let us never forget them, let the future never forget them.
