All Blogged Up: A Moof’s Tale

Scurry Scurry!

Wanted to drop in and say hello before you guys give up on me completely!

I’ve had a bit of an unnusual week. Lots of things going on - kept me from really getting into here and putting up a decent post. There’s still a bit going on … so I’m not officially “back” yet.

Today I have to drive north to Portland, ME … and I won’t be home until what could well be the wee early hours. Tomorrow, I have to drive up to the Bangor area … at least a 3 hour ride for me - closer to 3 1/2, actually. I’ll be spending a few nights up there with my son and my sweet little daughter-in-law. I’ll take pictures though, and try to post some when I get back.

Hopefully, by late this week end, or early next week, I should be back to my regular blogging mayhem.

And now, I’ll leave you a cutie that one of my snow-bird friends sent me from Florida:

The Other Stall

I was barely sitting down when I heard a voice from the other stall saying:
“Hi, how are you?”

I’m not the type to start a conversation in the restroom, but I don’t know what got into me, so I answered, somewhat embarrassed,
“Doin’ just fine!”

And the other person says:
“So how do you like living in San Francisco?”

What kind of question is that? At that point, I’m thinking this is too bizarre, so I say,
“Uhhh, I’m like you, just traveling!”

At this point I am just trying to get out as fast as I can, when I hear another question.
“Can I come over?”

Ok, this question is just too weird for me, but I figured I could just be polite and end the conversation. I tell him,
“No……..I’m a little busy right now!!!”

Then I hear the person say nervously…
“Listen, I’ll have to call you back. There’s an idiot in the other stall who keeps answering all my questions.”
