I found you through that "unusual" guy in Oklahoma. I'll add my two cents to this and that's about what it's worth. Childlike faith is is a must. Life is easy (simple). We complicate it with all that "stuff" the world daily presents. God doesn't answer all prayers because He knows better then we what's good for us. The "moment" is all we have. God lets us know what to do with it. It's up to us to follow through. I like Plato's idea of reality. We're chained in the entrance to a cave, a fire behind us and all we see are the shadows of reality. Prayer by unbelievers: God loves us all. The Beatitudes, like all creation, contain the seeds of their opposite. Many physical ailments are caused by stress, etc. That's all of salient points I can remember at the moment. Good stuff.
